hey guys just bought a set of rabbit ears(the v style) in town during the week. i dont spend much time in my flat in waterford so im not getting any pay tv. i was only getting the rabbit ears to watch the rugby on rte. its only a cheap set of rabbit ears.

the question is do the rabbit ears still work and how the #### do i use them:D i thought i knew how to tune them in but im totally lost.

and i knwo i can watch rugby online but my question is about the ears and not how to stream

The rabbit ears will only work in strong signal conditions & it helps if your building is constructed of materials that are friendly to radio waves.

Positioning can help; try to place the aerial in a window facing the Gallows Hill transmitter (Saorview only), even if you have to extend the cable (but not by too much).

IF.... your referring to Digital Terrestrial Television then does your tv have an MPEG4 decoder, or are you using a set top box with an MPEG4 decoder/saorview box if not you won't pick up anything.
