Its only approx a tenner more then we'd change for most other cars as there is nothing special about the pads, the required diagnostic reset of the CBS system is all thats different.

We'd apply the same pricing to cars with electronic parking brake systems that need the diagnostic computer to set the calipers for pad replacement.

    Good pricing all the same.

I'd recommend using Textar pads and sensors too, top quality pads and nearly half the price of genuine ones.

As the warning light has appeared on the dash chances are you'll need to replace the sensor wire too.

..ps. my bangernomic Omega only cost me €15 for genuine front pads:D

you dont need to plug in the car to reset the break light i am a bmw mechanic and its only a matter of ten seconds to reset the light with your finger and yes u will need a new sensor

Got it done over at "Nissan Doctors" place.
He wasn't there himself but one of the other lads did it.
Just needed the computer switched back off ( in other words no sensor needed just computer re-set so it knows new pads were fitted).
Very good job and a good price.
    Would recommend.

Now - failed the nct today on a drivers side track rod end.
Any advice on prices to fit - only 20 quid to buy so labour only.

    Thanks again lads.

The sensor normally wears out partially on CBS equipped BMW cars, so it ideally should be replaced with the pads every time. I'll add pictures later if anyone doubts it.
