Radio London on Satellite in Ireland?
I am planning to switch from UPC to Satellite and as I can't afford Sky Sports and want to follow the football, can anyone tell me if I can access radio coverage of Spurs games on Radio London. They are always covered on Radio London.

According to the following satellite list, Radio London is only available in the London Area. - 718 on Astra 2D, but London area only.
    See-

If I were to set myself up with either Freesat or Free to Air, would I be able to get that football coverage from Radio London on Astra?

As far as I know it's only available on the EPG in the London area, but it can be tuned in via the "Other Channels" option.

Thanks to Tony and Charles, I'm a novice to this subject and appreciate your help.

Am I correct then to expect that Radio London 94.9 Match Commentaries can be accessed here on satellite, but some of the "interactive program guide " facilities will be restricted to the London area?
If so, I could live with that.

Does it matter whether I go for a free to air box or a Freesat one?

    The BBC London website states-
"BBC London 94.9, DAB, DSAT & Online Matches are also available on BBC London's radio platforms including BBC London 94.9, BBC London digital, Sky channel 0152, Freesat channel 718 and Virgin Media channel 930."

Tuning details are: 11.954, H, 27.5, 2/3 - this will all make sense when you attempt to add channels on a Satellite Box !
It's Free To Air so is available via a Freesat Box or a Free To Air Box

My humax freesat box (foxsat recorder) shows the upcoming radio programmes on the epg so they can be recorded as you would a tv programme.

If you enter a London region postcode, BBCLondon94.9 appears on the programme guide at 718 as you quote from the website, below, but this also sets your Itv1 channel to London.

When I have it set to a welsh region, there is no channel 718 on the guide, but you can still add it to your "other non-freesat channels" as Twinklerunner explains below. In this case you will not have a full epg available, only the now and next programme.

Don't know about any "interactive programme guide" other than it being on the epg as above.:D
