Writing Lyrics

I like to write lyrics. I have loads and I try to do some of my own recordings and i've tried putting together an album but it never sounds good enough to be in the public domain however, the lyrics themselves, I feel are very good.

I have a feeling that if a famous act, ever read my lyrics, they would love to use them.

Since recording isn't going well for me, I would love to put the lyrics out there and maybe sell them.

I am aware that there are many irish lyricists who sell songs to massive acts like beyonce, leona lewis and the likes.

Anyone know anything about this or should I just put the lyrics away to gather dust?

    K

There's oodles of information on getting your songs picked up by bands etc but selling them doesn't really work that way I'm afraid.

Why not go talk to your local "happening" band and see if they're interested??
