Yahoo Messenger can't sign in!

    hey wondering if anyone on here can help with a problem i got with yahoo messenger.
    i have an old pc and i had yahoo messenger installed on it, one day my pc broke down and i lost everything on it the hard drive got wiped and i had to reinstall everything. i used to sign into my yahoo messenger and it had the password saved i never had to type it in. cookies enabled or whatever it was.

    anyways now i can't remember the password to my yahoo account and so i can't sign in, whats worse is i can't remember the security question i put down neither, very stupid of me i know, you don't need to tell me.

    i really want to access my account again but i don't see a way how i can. it was like 3 years ago i signed up/registered with it so how am i supposed to remember some random security question i haven't a clue, i keep trying to access it and it gets blocked for 12 hours each time i attempt too many times.

    is there any way around this at all? also i can't find a link to contact yahoo help directly. it keeps directing me to problem solution pages and FAQ pages. they obviously don't want to be contacted or emailed directly. I'm finding it hard to find an email to contact them on. can anyone help?
