    I use the Epson V500.. does a good job.. the negative holders (35mm and 120) are very flimsy though.

    I scanned 3,000 negatives with THIS. There were photos (including B&W Polaroids) and negatives going back to the early '70s.

    Great machine.

    I have the aforementioned Epson Perfection V500 Photo scanner, and I find it does a pretty darned good job.
    Not as good as a dedicated film scanner like a Nikon CoolScan ED9000.. but it's pricetag is WAY more modest.

    As someone said, the film carriers are kind of flimsy.. but they work just fine one you get used to them.
