Christmas night out

Hello,

I am looking for a Christmas night out for a small school. There are about 20/25 of us and we are based in South Dublin.

I was thinking about a deal a former colleague told me about before were a group of friends went to a hotel in the midlands, had a scone and jam on arrival, dinner with a glass of wine and a night in the hotel. It was about 50 quid for the whole thing. Hotels know that people staying will have breakfast the next morning and will buy drinks.

Does anyone know of something similiar around Christmas?

Look for a hotel that does party nights, you would want to be booking something now.
How far will ye travel?

About an hour and a half from Dublin.

My wife is a teacher and they do something similar each year - always go to a country house and have used:
Trim Castle
Roganstown
Dunboyne
Rathsallagh (sp)

I would recommend them all and don't accept the first price!
