    Hello all,

I recently bought the upgrade for 500px and am using it as my webpage now. It's still Deadl.ie.
I'm just wondering how you think it looks and if I should:
    • Create a separate b&w portrait gallery. I think they have a different weight to them and I'm not sure whether I should seperate them (making them a bit thinner, each) or keep them together (lost the impact of the B&Ws.)
    • Divide up my live images - there's loads already in it, as it is!)
    • Change my welcome logo

Any other suggestions, comments would be appreciated!
    Cheers for looking, anyway!
    M

I actually checked your site out yesterday, cool shots, all in, I like it.

    but

I don't like the scrolling method.

It feels odd, especially the when some portrait orientation shots are mixed with landscape compositions.

Not sure what you can do about that, or if 500px allow other options.

Also, a thumbnail scroll bar or side panel would be nice.

    Should be back up now!
500px went down for about 30mins last night! Sods law!

There is a small thumbnail option on the top right, but it's not ideal. You can use the arrow keys to scroll through the images too.

But I agree 100% about the landscape/portrait element though - will look into that after work today - might change the galleries' layouts altogether. It might help! The other option is to bunch all the portrait-orientated ones together, go half-n-half with them?

Anyway, cheers Tractor! Food for thought!
