Hey, I'm in <snip> as well and have been thinking about that for ages! What do you usually play?

I set up a club like this in Galway, I just started it up initially in a local cafe near where i live and just went along with some of my mates. By word of mouth, membership slowly grew, the cafe eventually closed so I moved it into Galway city and it is going well. If you just had a few friends to go along with you the first few times and got it started that way it would probably take off. If you want to see how we're getting on now, have a look at our facebook page:

    Good luck!

You might also consider creating a similar thread in the Irish Forums on Board Game Geek. We find that is where we generate most of the interest for our gaming group.
