Hey, I signed upf or 100 mbs package (biggest) and just 5 min ago my line became active and connection established. Yet the speeds are only 700kbs - 1.5 Mb per second. Why so slow? isnt it supposed to be like 10 mb/s ?

That particular Cisco modem they sent u out is only capable of speeds around 30mb - they should of sent you the Thompson modem, for your 100mb package.
I have the cisco and my speeds are quite good lately.

    You have the wrong modem.
The Thompson modem is what you need if you have a 50 or 100 megabit connection.
    The Thompson has WiFi.
Call UPC and advise them that they sent you the wrong modem, please.
