Hi guys, A friend of mine got a temp offer @ google. Despite the whole offer seems to be very fishy to me, the worst aspect is, that he will be employed @ a headhunter agency. Does anybody have experiences with those temp jobs at google? They sound very exploiting to me.

Temps work in a lot of large and small organisations, Google temp staff have red badges: http://www.gizmodo.com.au/2011/04/googles-secret-class-system/

Sounds like there is nothing fishy about it to be honest; great opportunity for your friend.

    What's fishy about it?

What's so bad about being employed thru an agency?

Sure, it's not as good as a permanent role directly through the company. But it's better than lots of other options, including no job at all.
