Helping a mate with a ripplecom modem. Ripplecom seem to have changed the set-up of the modem they provide. The default gateway is different to the one mentioned on the modem documentation. As a result, not surprisingly, the default username and passwords are not acceped.

Does anyone know what default username and password ripplecom use for their modems in order to access the modem settings to make changes to wireless keys etc.

    Thanks in advance,

    L.

When I had ripple com they did not supply modems, your thinking of a router perhaps ?

Make and model would be a help

Router/modems, developed a habit of using either or.
It's an Airrouter, ripplecom seem to have set it up with their own username and password but fantastically have not supplied that info! ;)

"ubnt" is the default password you are using ?, failing try a reset of the router. Or you could just ring Ripplecom support.

It is the default on the manual but does not work. The default gateway is different to the manual as well. It does seem ripplecom have changed it to their own settings. The info should be readily available to customers by them. I'll have to make the call though, something I can put to them for what it's worth.
