Where can I find my lectures online? (tr071 Science)

I'm in first year science, hi! I changed my modules on Thursday, I'm now doing Geography 1, Maths Methods and Biology 1 this semester. We didn't do anything in Bio all week but I didn't attend any Maths Methods or Geography lectures. I was wondering where I could find the lectures I missed online? Or maybe someone here on Boards attended the lectures and they can give me a brief description of what went on?

    Thanks so much!

You could try check the websites for each lecturer.

(I missed the Maths methods because I was doing Maths 1 and missed Geography because I was doing Chemistry by the way)

Your Biology Lectures will be on the Biology Teaching Centre Site. Maths methods lecturers emailed em to us when I was in first year, they have a link to their own pages on the school of maths website. If you're unsure, just go up and ask them after/before a lecture, they won't mind. I can't speak for Geography I'm afraid.

Geography lecturer refuses to put anything online :( there's a couple of essay type files on the Geography JF page but he won't put up slides... be prepared to write essays each lecture unless you plan on studying at home.

We're currently doing Physical Geography this term, with the first half based around the history of concepts in Physical Geography.

I don't think the Maths Methods lecturers put any slides online except for around exam time, when the probability/matrices lecturer does. The Algebra lecturer didn't (as far as I recall)

I'm sure he did, he started handing them out but when the class grew he emailed them to us/linked us to his webpage so we could print them before each lecture.

Edit: Here's the page of the lecturer that did the algebra part. Not sure if he's teaching the course this year. Some JF now would be able to tell the OP.

Oh, apologies, I don't actually remember much of his stuff considering I just used the book for it. Didn't remember him putting anything online though, guess I should've checked my emails more in first year :L
