Question is : if you have 15 years continued service in a public service body and are moving to another department in the civil service this year are you deemed to be a new entrant and are you subject to the 10% pay cuts . Hi Guys, this may have been done before but i want to throw it out there for piece of mind.

Question is : if you have 15 years continued service in a public service body and are moving to another department in the civil service this year are you deemed to be a new entrant and are you subject to the 10% pay cuts .

I dont consider myself as a new entrant but have been told that i am and just wondering whats going on ?

any comments or suggestions ?

i am considering not taking it now because of this...

Did you look at the Public Service Superannuation miscellaneous provisions Act 2004?

Check it carefully to see if you meet the conditions to avoid being a "new entrant"
