Hi - wanting to get some perfume for herself for an upcoming birthday.

She likes lacoste pink, tommy girl (blue bottle), gucci rush. She is 25 if that makes a difference!

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. :)

Also want to get her some good makeup - any suggestions of a good set?

I know you wanted suggestions of products but it's hard to get those things right.
Maybe give her a voucher? That way she can get what she likes but you still paid for it.

Yeah, i was thinking that but I wanted to get something for her from the kid's and they'd be annoyed if it was "just a piece of paper" as they'd see it! :)

Gucci Pink is one of the nicest perfumes I have ever had, J'adore is a classic at this stage and also lovely. If you are shopping for her then be sure to ask for help and tell them what she likes. Others she might like based on the ones above are:

    Light Blue by D&G.
    Amour by Kenzo
Aqua Di Gio by Georgio Armani
    L'Eau d'Issey by Issey Miyake

In regards to make up - I would get her a voucher from Debenhams or the like because make up is such a personal thing and very easy to get wrong - unless she uses a specific brand all the time.

Take a peak at her cleansers/toners and if they are expensive ( Clarins, dermalogica etc) then write the name down and buy them or get a voucher for these.

    Hope this helps...

CK Euphoria is fab, also the new one they brought out called Forbidden Euphoria is nice too but a sweeter scent kind of along the lines of what your GF wears at the moment.

Jimmy Choo is nice too.. as is Contradiction by CK

+1 on any Urban Decay set they are always very well received by us ladies :D

    Good luck :)

It might be advisable to describe her to us, as you can't make a silk purse out of a pigs ear.

Sure yeah, shes 25, dark hair, GSOH likes long walks and friendly conversation... what?!? Why would it matter what she's like? Are you basically too PC to just straight out ask if she's a skanger or not?

She's not - she may like some down market perfume but she's far from it.

Thanks for the suggestions all - I have since asked her to help the childers to pick out her perfume/make-up as there is too much that can go wrong otherwise!
