One week up, next week down ...

One week when trailing through the job sites and see a few jobs that excite me, I get so excited because I know I would be perfect for them! I do my Cv up very carefully, mail off my cover letter and I sit and wait (while applying for other jobs in my area) and I don't even get a reply! :(
I did an interview two months ago and I got my thanks but no thanks letter yesterday!
I feel like giving up now, it seems like its never going to happen!
So down and out over it all!
After the excitement comes the low, and its a hard fall! :(
For my sanity I need something to come up soon!

I'm in the same boat! I literally spend all my days scouring through every job website possible and perfecting my applications. Have been offered five interviews in the last week though and even turned down one job offer with another offer still pending so things are really looking up, just keep trying!

Hang in there, we know it's tough.

For your sanity, make sure you do something other than job-hunting each day. Ideally something where you're learning a new skill, or improving an existing one, and you are definitely succeeding. With job hunting being so tough at the moment, you need to make sure you experience success somewhere along the way.

I am starting a course this wednesday for three months, its a refresher accounting course, so there is that I suppose!
I am praying by the end of it I will have a job! So here is to hoping!
