hi all,

Last week i started doing 1(maybe 2) dead cert football bet every week to double my money, gonna do €50 bets till hopefully i hit 600 and i wanna up it then.

I took spurs and man city, my €50 made €80 so i have 130 in my pp

this week i have city again and chelsea another €50 double to pay 67.56 profit

What you are doing is possible

It seems your starting balance was €60, turning that into €600 backing short priced selections is not at all unfeasible.

Having a bet that is nearly 40% of your current betting bank wagered makes you likely to fail though, if you keep doing that you'll get stung.

The trouble with backing short priced selections is that there is no value whatsoever in the price, you can't consistently back selections that are underpriced with an agressive staking plan and get away with it.

Correct edit 80 return on first bet i do agree with what your saying but im hoping to get the first few up and hopefully wont be putting in such a high %

Wrong Short Prices Betting can be profitable when the short price is the wrong price. You would be better doing your own tissue and then backing accordingly when the price is better than your tissue. Simple way of getting good tissue is the betfair SPs

prices not great today and with chelsea playing liverpool im going to go with arsenal on their own at 8/11, no value at all adding city or united and i think arsenal are a great price, almost added schalke at 4/6 but gonna leave it

Impressed that you only went €20 as its easy to get carried away when winning. Important not to lump a large % of pot on a "dead cert" - we seen what can happen with united tonight, I am sure they were red hot pre kick off.

Thanks for that was lucky i stayed with a low bet there but even with 20mins to go thought united would still win it.
Had a look this week at the games not sure what i will go with yet maybe united would be worth it this weekend

Vidic out makes a huge difference to their team, there's absolutely no value in them. I'd say steer clear of them this week, they probably will win but it's not worth the risk at the price they're at.

I totally agree and at 2/9 no value at all.
Had a look around there now and really fancy borussia M G, Montpellier and PSG especially with montpellier at 15/8 and the other 2 at 5/6 and 19/20
Cant decide which 2 to pick so will go small with €15.97 on the treble to pay €164.14 looks like a good bet with a great price

Thanks roverjames had a lot of luck along the way but really enjoyed the log.
Will hopefully start fresh in the new year but with maybe a bigger bank and hopefully the result will be as good.

First time I've looked in the gambling forums for quite a while and noticed this thread.
Perfect example of someone planning, executing and finishing what was planned.
Set your target, worked towards it, and finished up.

Easier said than done for sure, but well done boss; good to see you've made yerself a few pound
