    Hey all,

Was wondering if i can get some help with this.
I'm not quite use to pistols yet to know where to invest in parts or pistol yet.

I'm planning on getting 2 of these punisher pistols for my loadout.
However 2 companies make the replica, western arms and WE. Both of which i dont want to get. WA is out of the question and WE as much as i love the look of the socom series their reliabilty is something to question in my opinion. For this pistol i want performance and reliabilty

The compensator for the punisher 1911 is made by madbull and says on their site thats its for socom/we series 1911 :(

However i do love the TM performance and was set upon to use the tm 1911 as a base for the pistol.

    So my question's are:

Is it possible to unpgrade the internals of a WE 1911 with TM parts or anything to make it more reliable.?

Will a WE pistol take TM 1911 mags in this case single stack.?

Is it possible to fit a compensator onto a TM 1911.?

Or if you have any other helpful suggestions to approach this project i would be very grateful. :)

    Thanks in advance

    DP

Any reason for not using a wa pistol?

Rather then buy two guns, and swapping internals, or upgrading all the internals even,
Would you not think of buying a 1911 with the same look, and stripping back the finish yourself on those few parts and repainting the rest?
Easier and cheaper then buying one marketed as a movie replica surely.

Anyone remember ho expensive them golf face off ones where, and then somebody bought one and they where ****.

As for the compensator, I can't be certain, but it just replaces the barrell bushing, so I can only imagine it would fit other 1911's aswell like the kwa models.

Reason for not considering a WA pistol is i think their too pricey.

As for getting a similar 1911 to redo it. Yeah ive no problem with that, repainting it and engraving some logos writing etc.

Im just looking at my options and trying to gather as much info before i start buying pistol and parts.

But the fitting of the compensator is the main thing really i suppose...everything will fall into place.

In that case, Buy the compensator, and go into an airsoft retailer and see what 1911 it fits.
    And go from there

From talking to you in Hobby a couple of weeks back, I can tell this is a labour of love...as a result, I'm going to completely disregard budget in what I say here.

    Base-Pistol:
    - TM 1911 MEU

    Parts:
    - Silver Outer Barrel
    - KJ Works KP-06 Part No. 35 (slide stop)
    - Compensator
    - Hammer Spring Housing
    - 1911 Grips
    - Metal Body Kit

    Work:
    - Strip paint & polish metal; Beaver Tail safety, Hammer, Ambidextrous Safety, KJW Part no.35
    - Paint; Hammer Spring housing
    - Transfer Trigger mech & other parts into metal frame; retain original plastic slide

That's what I'd do anyway, so yeah; food for thought :)
