I was wondering if anyone has been to one of the actual taping's in England and what was it like? I'm going to the Smackdown taping in November and was just looking to see if anyone else has been?? :)

i've been to a few raw tapings in England, it's fun, weird that (different than a house show) they're mugging for the cameras, and not the crowd; and also they still have the 2-3 minute breaks (where they do nothing) during ad-breaks to keep their timing. You might also get some re-shoots which is weird!

it's lots of fun. have a great time :)

I went to the Rebellion show Manchester, just after the WWE/WCW merger which was cool as there was a few WCW wrestlers on the card. Austin Vs Rock main event - doesn't get better than that! Wasn't shown on PPV in America, but it was on Sky Box Office in the UK.

Yeah I remember rebellion, it was one of the first times they had an event in England since they had Summerslam there all those years ago. I'm looking forward to it now and as Jay pointed out there might be retakes and since Smackdown isn't on Live TV there probably will be retakes... I'd say that is strange. Is Superstars or NXT taped with Smackdown??

Thought I'd leave a little update on this, went to Smackdown in Liverpool last Tuesday. First televised event I'd been too. And out of all the events iv ever been too it was by far the best. Quality that I got NXT, Superstars & Smackdown and I was sat in the 4th row camera side and was on the TV loads.. If anyone is giving a thought to going to one I'd recommend it.

Ive been to a few, Sheffield, London, aswell as the Rebellion/Insurrexion shows and house shows here.

Tapings are by far the best, better crowd, better atmosphere all knowing you'll be on camera and potentially on TV adds to the feel.

House shows are more for families/casual viewers... you get the British hardcore fans at the tapings.

Sounds like a good deal, three shows for the price of one. How long was the entire show from start to finish?
