Getting rid of bodykit

So I'm looking at a celica to buy, the vvtl-i. The one I like ( right mileage, right colour, one owner, right price, etc) has a body kit on it. I really like the car standard, think it looks much better, what would I be looking at to convert back price wise? There seems to be front bumper/ fender? side skirts and a spoiler. Thanks for your help.

    Car in question.

You look to just have side skirts and rear bumper added with nothing taken away, so those can be removed and maybe allow €150 encase once removed there is marks underneath.
The front bumper is not standard, getting a standard one shouldn't be too hard. Maybe try and swap your current one on a modified car website, breakers yard?? or get a spurious one, probably about €200. Again allow about €200 for spray and fit.

as body kits go thats actually a nice one.and its a TRD kit. if you really want to take it off though do it carefully and sell it on. it should sell easily as a TRD kit.
all you'll be buying is a standard front bumper as the skirts and rear valance look like theyre only added on over the existing bumper and skirts

X2^. Not the most flamboyant of kits you can find and it does look nice on the car TBH.

Your choice at the end of the day though :).

Don't be a mad yoke, that bodykit transforms the Celica! It's as bland as Utterly Butterly as standard!

doesnt look too bad at all.

One owner in Ireland? It a Jap Import? As for the kit it doesn't look too bad.

Yeah, those plates reek of bad taste and would likely draw too much attention of the blue uniform kind as they are completely illegal. Car looks fine.

looks the biz to me! i would be more concerned about the "one lady owner" bit :)

I'd leave the kit on if it was me to be honest, quite subtle and most likely factory fitted.

Number plate off and maybe new alloys will make that one of the nicer examples of that gen Celica.

    Hence the square plates ;)

    Year newer,
    Same Colour,
    Slightly higher mileage,
    Leather,
    Uk Spec,
No need to worry about the kit.
    Cheaper :D

Yeah but from what I've being reading I'd want to be looking for the vvtl-I if I'm goin back as far as 2002, something to do with problems in the earlier vvti engine, oil burning etc.

I get scared when they don't put mileage, especially when it's Toyota and you wouldn't be particularly scared of high mileage.

Theres also the fact that VVT-i engine is pretty dead compared to the VVTL-i engine.
