    M&S?

    How to measure
Better if you can try on different brands sizes vary

Is that place in Stephens Green worth a visit?

For tweedy head gear (and tweed in general) there is a place (McSharrys?) on Nassau street between Reads and Dawson Street that has hats.

However, they ain't cheap and tend to the Oirish end of the spectrum, but there's nothing wrong with tradition.

Cleary's on O'Connell Street used to have some downstairs in the Menswear department, but I don't know if they still do them.

Arnotts have a hat area on the ground floor.

Places like Kilkenny design, Blarney Woolen Mills and places like that might also do a line in traditional flat caps?

Good luck with the search. I'd like a nice hat too, but no hat has ever looked good on me. :(

I think part of it is just getting used to how you look with a hat on.

Theres also John Shevlin, shevlin.ie who will make a hat to measure as well in wool felt.
