Hi all, I had my Nikon D80 including a Sigma 70-300 f/4-5.6 and a YN-467 stolen from my house in the maynooth area last night. Also stolen was a macbook pro and a yashica mat MF camera. If anybody comes across these items I would be grateful if you could contact me about this. I now have no cameras to work with at all and I'm absolutely devastated these scum think they can do this. So any help would be greatly appreciated in this matter

Terrible news and Scum should be insulted being used to describe low life like this.

Items not covered by any insurance policies?

I have a good idea who stole your stuff. I've lived in maynooth for the last five years, and in may of this year my house was broken into (while i was upstairs doing college work), and over €1000 worth of electrical equipment was stolen, including a laptop, mp3 player etc. One of the kitchen knives was found outside by the back of the house the next day, so they obviously broke in the back of the house, picked up the knife in case anyone disturbed them from their crime spree, and then left.

MOD NOTE Information was too specific without proof. Maybe private contact would be advised.
