Put on pair of new Bridgestone A001 Weather Control tyres on the front of Avensis. Am getting a bit of a vibration around 110-115 kmph. Are they just badly balanced or is it just down to a heavier thread? Tks

Is the vibration felt through the steering wheel? Did you get them balanced after putting them on? If not then that's where I would start.

    Badly balanced, thats it

I always thought they would have balanced them as standard. The vibration is through the steering wheel. Can't say its really bad but definitely noticeable. Tks all.

They probably were balanced but not precisely enough, or you could have lost a balance weight any time later meaning the wheel is out of balance again.

Tyres don't come perfectly balanced and neither do wheels (they're often close but not perfect), you have to get them balanced (wheel and tyre balanced together using those little weights fitted on the rim) by whoever's fitting the tryes, if that's done right there should be no vibrations caused by the wheel or tyre

have exact same issue after getting new tyres put on

Not all balancing machines in tyre shops are in good order and not every lad who works at it is... erm... fully competent. So even if you have seen your tyres spun on balancing machine it does not necessary means they were balanced

Got tyres rebalanced. Even did the rear ones in fairness to the guy. Still the same. Is it because they are winter tyres??:(

I had this problem a few years back after a new set of tyres. They were balanced 3 times and still had a slight wobble through the steering wheel. The last place I took them to told me that the wobble might go away as the tyres wear in. I thought he was telling pork pies and treated it as a fob off but in fairness he was right. After a few hundred miles the wobble was gone (and it was not just a case that I got used to it).
Not saying this is your issue but just something I experienced. :D

Oh, and the tyres wore evenly too. When replacement time came they had normal wear patterns as expected.

Worn suspension /steering components or wheels out of alignment.

Winter or summer tyres they should not vibrate, something is still wrong. I've read before that wheel alignment problems might cause vibrations, but I never seen it myself and can't imagine how alignment could cause vibrations.
Another common reason for vibrations is warped brake disks, though, normally, you'll have those vibrations going stronger when you apply brakes.
Is there any possibility like something stuck between the wheel and hub, so it is off centre when fitted? Also on some cars wheels are not centered on the hub by the central hole but only by the nuts / studs / bolts (whatever you have on yours). I had a car myself, where wheel nuts where tightened by previous owner in such a way that wheel stud holes in two discs where damaged and wheels where off centre when fitted, causing strong vibration. Balancing machine at the same time in most cases centers wheels by the central hole, so perfectly balanced but incorrectly fitted wheels would vibrate.
Jack up every wheel, spin it and check if it does not wobble.
