    Saturday October 1.

    12:45 Everton W L W D W L (11th) v Liverpool D W W L L W (5th) (Referee: Martin Atkinson)
Everton have lost just one of their last 14 home Barclays Premier League matches.
Liverpool are bidding to avoid a hat-trick of away defeats as they make the short trip across Stanley Park.

Form is on Everton's side, purely based on each teams home and away records. However, Liverpool may be the more in form team overall.
Liverpool's 4-4 draw with Everton in February 1991 was the final match of Dalglish's first tenure as Reds manager, with the Scot quitting his post a couple of days after the FA Cup clash.

Due to Kenny's return, I'm going for Liverpool @ 6/4 (William Hill) for me!

    Sunday October 2.

    16:00 Tottenham Hotspur W L L W W W (6th) v Arsenal D L L W L W (13th) (Mike Dean)
Tottenham go in search of a fourth successive victory in the Barclays Premier League while Arsenal seek a first away victory.
The Gunners have taken just one point from their three matches on the road.

Form is on Tottenhams side, and despite having rested some starters midweek, they often have a Euro hangover, and what better time or place for Wenger to kick-start their league revival.

I'm going for Arsenal @ 13/5 (Victor Chandler).

I would be hesistant to put money on Pool to beat wolves at home, and they just won that 2:1

you would want great big balls of steel to put a wage on them to win at Goodison, and I think the odds are crap for an away win.

Agreed that Liverpool away @ 6/4 is not great, especially as it's the derby and their away form. Everton are 21/10 with several bookies which is decent I think. Still, I think Liverpool are more likely to get the away win than Arsenal.

As for the 0-0, I think it's highly unlikely in the London derby. 16/1 with BlueSQ, 888 and Ladbrokes. SkyBet have the Mersey derby @ 9/1 for the 0-0.

Still, I'm gonna go for the away double, just few euros!

Outside bet, Blackburn to beat City @ 5/1! I doubt I'll do that! City to win 5-0 is 66/1 with BoyleSports, BlueSQ and 888, tempted to chance a euro! :pac:
