I want to open Developer in Microsoft Excel and aparently if there is no Developer tab (I can't see one) I have to firstly,

    click the Microsoft Office button,
    then click Excel Options,
    click Popular,
then select the Show Developer tab in the Ribbon check box.

The thing is, I can't see the Microsoft Office button. On the internet it states the button is located in the top left hand of the screen, but I can't see one.

Anyone know where this button might be hiding, or what other way can I open Developer in MS Excel?

    Thank you!

What version of Excel are you using? In older versions pre 2007~ you open a toolbar afaik for developer. Look in View>Toolbars and add new toolbar I think it may be, not sure though, try THIS guide actually on older versions
