Dish Position

    Hi again all.

This is an ongoing saga, but I like to make sure all is ok before I invest.

I have decided to go for the Triax 1.1m dish and quad lnb's with a prime focus on 26e, then 19.2 and 13E, already have dish for 28E.

My house points practically at 26E so dish will be mounted between the houses.

I have included a pic of what dish will be pointing at. I am not too worried about trees as, according to Sat finder they are 50m from house and would need to be 21m high from base of dish to block signal and they are not that height off the ground.

What I am more concerned about are the ESB cables. Will these affect reception? I do not want to go above them as the dish would be too high in the skyline.

    Any advice appreciated.

    Cheers

    TC

Seems to me you're just looking for excuses not to bother with this particular project.

No problem with project Ronni Smartgun, ooops Raygun, just want to be sure that it will work before I invest the guts of €200.

Perhaps you have more cash than me in these days of economic strife.

Anyway, I am looking for advice, that's what forums are for. If you have nothing constructive to say, you should keep your smart-ass remarks to yourself......
