Living in Citywest (and too late to be annoying the neighbours)... Only moved in yesterday and cannot get any TV reception... We apparently can get communal channels, but nothing... we've hooked up an old sky box and tried to get the free channels and nothing.... There are loads of 'holes' in the wall... dish 1, dish 2, aeriel, RF?

Anybody able to lead me in some kind of direction?

    Thanks

Two options of help include either make use of the manual to sort the matter and other one is make use of the net world to gather information and to find the solution.

Did you try connecting the TV directly to the aerial/RF output?

Pontpont, there is not said manual and im currently using the internet ;)

The Cush, I've tried all over the options in the wall, and used automatic tune on the tv and results in no channels...

Don't know what to do next...haven't ordered sky yet but will have to do t today, won't have sky for at least a week though! :\

Talk to the neghbours would be my next step. Are you renting or the owner, is there a management company?

Surely you could survive without tv for a week? Just think of all the trash you will miss on it during the week.

    Are these sockets marked ?

Presumably the "aerial" or "RF" sockets are what you should be connecting to.

Instead of automatic tuning try tuning manually. The frequencies are 29/33/35/55 (analouge) or 54/58 (Saorview)

Do you have to pay to be connected? I had to pay in an old apartment I lived in.
