well you see if it's a hop up problem it's either a very easy re adjustment easy or replacing the part, both are simple.

but if not a readjustment then which part should be replaced as I was thinking the spring might be gone yano the one tha push's it back from the outer barrel :)

sounds more like a hop up unit problem itself, like maybe the rubber is worn or something

If its a problem with the hop up, its a perfect place to cut your teeth fixing aegs.

No point paying somebody to fix something that's so simple a DIY fix.
Split the upper reciever from the lower and slide the hop and inner barrel out. And that's it, your problem should be easy to find from that point.

I know that much :D but how does one extract the rubber? Smelting? :D

Fill the barrel with a water and sand mix and remove the plastic clip on the hop up holding the barrel in place, then with a screw driver and pliars, hammer the round bit top wise.

Ah no, when ya remove the top reciever the hop and inner barrel will life out easily, look at the hop and you'll see a plastic clip, 'c' shaped about 10mm wide pressed into the hop over the end of the barrel.
Remove this by hand, org the tip of your nail, and the barrel should then pull out with the rubber on the end. Watch out for the little bucking thy will fall out when you pull out the barrel.

Before ya do that, look into the hop through the hole the air nozzle sits, and rotate the hop adjust to see if it is working, you'll see the round shape change win a flat portion on the top.

It should be more or less the same. You won't need to touch the gearbox to sort the hop up.

oh yes I know but it was suggested as a great resource for expanding my techy knowledge but I dont come acros any TM M4's :D

They are helpful. Sit down with the video and an m4 and go at it. There are very few differences and any that are there, are minor.

True, but for the most part, they'll be similar enough.

well yeah the internals will be but I find it anoying that if you want a different rail system with more real-estate you have to get a complete upper receiver :pac:
