I got one a year or two ago and it's great. The radio reception is woeful though! I believe this is fixable, i just never really listen to the radio.

They have a choice of 2 designs next Thursday. The other one is way nicer looking.

It's actually shown in the case at the bottom.

In our old van we got the older variant of this radio (I recognise the remote) the reception was just useless! If you listen to a lot of radio I don't reccomend it

Think you'd be better off forkin out for a brand name. Was going to buy this yoke on thursday but there so name on it and for the extra couple pound you'd get a good radio. Seen this one the other day.. €90 in halfords - worth the extra few bob i reckon..

If you're into your music, it won't be for you. Cheap stereo's just can't reproduce music properly. On the other hand if you're buying it for Bluetooth avoid it. The Microphone's built into the head unit making it useless. You're better off shelling out for one that has an external microphone.

I've had one for about 4 years in two different cars and never had any issues with it.

They pop up on adverts from time to time, you can get one second hand for 40eur easily. Since it's no-name, they don''t have much resale value.

I put an aldi one in my Dad's tractor approx 3 years ago and it's still going strong.

well they are reliable ... and im sure if you did end up with a faulty one that they would gladly change it for another and all that.

i just personally dont like these cheap tacky radios..... in both my own car and dads car we have the factory basic radios. (mine... probably cos i cant get another one from a third party and my dads was a tape player but i got another original cd player for his type of car)

i just cant stand those radios to be honest.

+1 on the external mic, the lidl one made by silvercrest has the external mic and works real good. Plus, the back up/warranty is excellent - I've had to send one back to lidl and it was no issue, they use a crowd in finglas called irish connections as the service agent, and they're good i must say.

Maybe hang fire for the lidl one when it comes round again.

If you install the this kit, you can install a double din in place of the original stereo. You will still keep the steering wheel functions and the screen with the clock and air con displays which runs off the original stereo will also still work
