I know this has been probably been done to death but I am trying to connect my PS3 to my wireless router. I have had it connected before but it wont work now...:confused:

I am with 3 and I have a dovado 4gr wireless router. Is there special settings I must enter and how do I change it to nat 1 or whatever it is so it works faster...

    Cheers.

Have you got the internet connection enabled? (Settings>Network Settings>Internet Connection).
Once you have this it's very straight forward, Settings>Internet Connection Settings>Easy>Wireless>Scan>Select your access point>Security Settings(if used).
It will then do a check and ask you to save your settings.
It will then test your connection.
Nat type 2 is the best setting, if you have that, your good for both online gaming and media sharing.
Nat 3 messes with online gaming and Nat 1 means you have no media sharing.

I done that but when I set it up it looks for an IP address and then says failed.

How do I change the NAT thing??? I wont be using it for games, only for streaming the internet/rte player through my tv.

Might have to enter an ip address for PS3 into router and save it and then enter it manually on PS3 when doing network settings.
