    Hi there,

Looking for thin insulation board that are of the equivalent conductivity as the standard Kingspan/Quinn 120mm Boards. Looking to reduce the thickness in the build up of the roof i'm working on.

    Anyone got any ideas

I think you may be falling into the trap of these foil based products that don't work..
The kingspan and phenolic equivalent type boards are best conductivity to thickness ratio currently available

    'standard' 120mm boards ???

the obvious question is why do you have a restricted depth to play with?
    whats the roof make up?
is this a new build or renovation?

    Boards arn't ideal between rafters,

you could put Quilt between the rafters and then line the inside with 100 PIR, you'll need a vapour control layer inside this to prevent interstital condensation

Simply put, what you are looking for doesn't exist.
The standard boards are currectly the least conductive insulation material commercailly availible.

Unless you pay for aerogel sheeting to be imported then you've not got a better option.
