Fund accountancy

hi,
I am thinking of trying to get into the fund accountancy area and was wondering if any1 had any info about what a career in this area would be like, good companies in this area, starting salary?

Have you any experience? Are you a grad?

Your prob looking at starting 20-23 depending on company as a grad, if you've got some relevant experience or an accounting experience, up to 30k (at most id say) starting out.

Good companies, depends really, State Street, BNY Mellon, Citco are prob the biggest. Then there's others like Nothern Trust, Butterfield, JPM etc etc

Do any of these banks provide a summer internship programme for grads does anyone know? I am aware State Street do but not sure about the others!

Thanks for that.

I checked a lot of them out, seems many of them don't have the positions advertised yet. Are they generally advertised later on in the year?
