Where to get 1000 calendars printed?

Hello, no clue where to post this, trawled through & I figured this was the best....

I'm a primary teacher and we're going to sell a school calendar for Christmas as a fundraiser. We've done it the last 2 years but felt that the printer costs were extensive and left little as a fundraiser. Have contacted a few of the more well known online companies, like Vistaprint and Photobox but so far, nothing has caught my eye.

Where would be the best place to get this many calendars printed for a reasonable cost? We're looking for about A3 size [A4 class photograph on top with month displayed, and calendar month on lower A4 with the facility to input dates like staff meetings/closures and have them printed on the calendar itself]. Not sure about the binding - ones we've gootten before seem to be stapled, and are quite durable and don't fall apart. Would spirals be better and cheaper?

Try si @ www.gallopprint.com uk based. Very cheap and helpfull. I would love to recommend an irish printer but can't find a better cheaper printer.

Would a UK based one be sily to go with considering I'd need to submit the photos/suggestions for calendar input, and see a printed copy before I'd go ahead with the 1000?

God Dammit why wont people invent some sort of electronic mail so we can send documents via the internet. of even some sort of post that could be carried by aeroplanes instead of the horse........... why!!!! why!!!!.

What type of calendar? how many pages and do you have design or needs to be designed? on what type of paper? I may be able to help.
