Hi I just started my first year in programming. I was told that when we finish the course most of the stuff we learn will be outdated  So i was wondering which streams are available and what they consist of. I was thinking the networking or systems management if there is any 2nd years that can tell me what the course is about and what I need to pass in order to do them. Thanks :)

There are 3 streams you can go into in 2nd year.

    Applications
    Networking
    Programming

All you need to do to get into one is be registered for the one you want to do. i.e. Registered for Systems Management will get you into Applications. Or fill in a form in April stating which one you want to go into.

People who pass the Applications & Networking Streams can go into Systems Management in 3rd year. They won't be able to do Software Development tho.

If you do Programming stream you will have to stick with Software Development in 3rd year.
