Thing is I would like to record my mixes (use the term loosly), I no back in the day ppl would use cassette, but I don't have a cassette player, is there anyway I can do it on my laptop without having to spend a fortune on software....Thank you

Have you got an old VHS recorder?

    use one of these Gold_3.5mm_Jack_to_RCA_Phono_Cable.jpg

in the audio in or mic socket on your laptop

    and either this http://audacity.sourceforge.net/

    or this http://www.goldwave.com/

if you are using the mic input on your laptop, don't have the volume on the mixer up very high, or it'll distort, the audio in should be able to take a bit more wallop,

    simple
