I have check coverage map few weeks ago, to find if i have coverage... they said Yes.. which they using signal from Mts lenister and i check yesterday again, and they said .

"Please consult a local aerial installer for further information."

i'm not sure but i see neighbors have aerial, but dunno if it's digital one!!.. (maybe i should go and knock their door, and ask them a question)
i have try contact Soarview Retailer for check and install aerial... but most of them are shop and sell Soarview.. only two of them are installer.. i try left message on email and sms..but no answer, reason i didn't phone them cos i am deaf...

and do you know any good installer i can contact in Wicklow area (reason that i want contact Wicklow area not dublin, cos i don't want them drive up to my home and found out which cant install due to no signal etc, would be waste their day)

There is no such things as a 'digital' aerial, the signal is transmitted as a UHF channel, regardless of whether the TV signal is analogue or digital.

Do you have an existing aerial? If so, what channels do you currently receive and do you have one aerial only, or two?

Get yourself over to the Terrestrial forumn and read all about Saorview. You might save yourself a few bob and install it yourself too.

Poster above is correct. No such thing as a digital aerial. .

Surprised it's not Kippure in Glenealy, but I'm not 100% on the local topography to be honest. Mount Leinster could be effected from the issues identified on the sticky at the top about reception in the South East. Other local aerials could be pointing to a relay (e.g. Ashford), so I wouldn't necessarily go with that direction before establishing that.

Can't help with installer - I think Black Briar has previously recommended a Wicklow installer.

OP, look at your neighbours' aerials, from Glenealy Mt. Leinster is SW, Kippure is NW so you'll be able to quickly tell which they are pointing at.

Ignore anyone who is at a significantly higher elevation to you as the area you are in is potentially served by both transmitters, if one of your neighbours sitting on a hill can pick up Kippure, it doesn't mean that you can.

It can be hard to find a decent aerial installer in Wicklow, one guy I rang wouldn't shut up about "digital aerials" and other fantasy statements like "special digital cable" which when I pushed him on turns out to be RG6, all the while constantly praising himself. The sad part is he has been putting up aerials for years and often is recommended by some of the shops around.

There seems to be a few good installers in Dublin and Wexford and although I haven't used them TRTV in Arklow were recommended to me if you were looking for someone closer to Glenealy.

Would the Ashford relay be in play too?

Sorry, you can't beat local knowledge ;)

Though Ashford is only 20W so the signal wouldn't travel very far.

Ashford is NE of Glenealy, also a possibility.

OP, do you have an aerial at the moment and if so, which direction is it pointing and what channels do you receive?

If your neighbours have only one aerial, they are probably pointing NE and picking up Ashford. The analogue channels transmitted by Kippure and Mt. Leinster are a mix of VHF (RTE1 & 2) and UHF (TV3 & TG4) so require two aerials.

I don't really know Glenealy that well. Just have knowledge of a few dodgy local installs around me, where they've tried to save money on two aerials/ combiners etc by going for a local relay when both Mount Leinster and particularly Kippure are much better options!
