Just wonder how they'll afford the €250k per week wage bill

They could pack groceries at the local Tesco.

I was under the impression that it was against the rules for a club to enter vexatious, and untenable bids for players?

Considering all the circumstances, and the fact that three months worth of Tevez's wages would probably amount to the liquid sum of Limavaddy's playing staff and facilities, this is as vexatious a bid as there has ever been!

Loan deals sometimes include the clause that the parent club pays a % of the wages, if Limavaddy could convince City to allow them to pay £1 a week to Carlos, that wouldn't be untenable at all, given that they could probably add £1 to ticket prices, and attract more people to games as a result of the signing.

    The fax says:
"Naturally, our club would not be in a position to discharge Mr Tevez's wages but I am sure you can see the advantages of keeping him match fit prior to any possible sale."

The parent club would pay the wages, as is often the case with loans.

He probably wouldn't be happy sitting on the bench there either

I applaud Liavaddy's publicity stunt. Free club profile raise.

But also offer City a chance at punishing Tevez! No disrespect intended to Limavaddy, or City either, that they would punish a player like this! It would be deserved though! Throwing a strop is one thing, refusing to help your team, not on!

I wonder can a player refuse a loan deal? I doubt a loan deal can be forced upon a player.
