Will Boards.ie/vote be used for the Presidential election? I really liked it during the general election last time around and would love to see it used again

While it does remain quite inaccurate (FF only got 3 seats), what would be interesting is to see what indications transfers would go.

Ideally, there should be one now.

And then another one the day before the election to gauge how well each candidate did in their campaign. That would actually be more revealing than comparing boards.ie with the actual result

    Yes, you are right.

going on the general election you would expect more Norris and McGuinness voters on boards than in the general population. The first preference will therefore be skewed but the transfer pattern should hold up more easily.
