The european business course is very good, as you said two years abroad, two degrees and two paid work experience placements(and they're not mickey mouse work placements) so say if you did business and a language in another college or even just international business in dcu you would graduate with one degree and just a year abroad. so when you go to look for a job a european business graduate is very employable and attractive especially as DCUBS is a very good business school and the partner european business schools are usually very prestigious.

Can't recommend DCU enough. Really loved that place. I did International Business and Languages and the teachers are excellent and class sizes are small. DCU is also very practical based, so you do a lot of presentations and group projects which is good experience for the working world.

You don't need to to have a background in business just good common sense and an interest.

    Thanks everyone!
My biggest worry is business because I haven't done it since 2nd year...

Would it be a good idea to go over some business, accounting books over ther Summer to have a background of it?

I'd actually advise going over your spanish keeping it up over the summer as when you go in the language lectures are completely in the language(well it's like that for french anyway) which a lot of people find difficult

Well I find Spanish very easy and I'm a foreigner (as you can see from my writing;)) and that wouldn't be a problem:) So is everyone saing I will be grand If I havent studied Business at all? I thought it would be the biggest problem...

I'm in the french leg of this course and i'd recommend it over the others. As other ppl have said you have the advantage of 2 degrees. The spanish partner school in Madrid is ICADE and its a good business school. The partner school are mostly private business schools - that are quite hard to get into and expensive if you are not coming from the DCU side.

I dont know much more about icade, but in DCU the business subjects arent too difficult if you have common sense and work at them.
