    Hi,

A friend of mine is wondering if it is possible to bring a SKY multi-room box from Eire to say the North of Ireland or UK?

He's heard that if you do this, SKY will send out a letter enquiring why the box is not connected to the telephone line and if it is not connected, they will disconnect the user.

    Thanks.

You can do it but if Sky do a call back on the box via the phoneline it's meant to be connected to then they'll send you a letter warning you to connect it to the line and eventually charge a full price sub on the box. Some people get away without ever getting any callbacks,or you could tell them you have a phoneline with UPC which doesn't always work with Sky multiroom;)
