Small Dog found in Thonabrucky(Knocknacarra area)

    My friend found this dog around it's house 3 days ago and its remained around, he posted it on Facebook so I said I'd try here, more traffic.

    Mods is there any chance of a lost/found animal sticky thread?...they come around a lot

    Saw him on the way home the last between the Thonabrucky crossroads and the Ballymoneen Rd. Could be from a house there.

    There is already a lost/found for any animals found nationwide.
    Please post there too.

    When a lost animal is found I close each thread to show it's been found.
    A main thread would get cluttered so I prefer separate threads for each pet.

    Take him to Ark Vets asap to check for a microchip - they may also recognise the dog. Could also be worth phoning Barna Vet Clinic.

    You also need to call the Dog Warden & advise them that you have the dog.

    If you have any problems & can't hang on to it call MADRA dog rescue.
