Played the Cave of Insights there, loved it. I hope there will be some headscratching puzzles later with the 2 players.... :)

Fair play to Nintendo for this.

Brilliant, thanks for giving us the heads up.

    Commas :(
I thought they decided to only allow it free today, not "Free - today, only on 3DS", even though it's for DSi as well.

    It's actually a DSiWare game.

But it's free so get it.

It's free for a while though, isn't it? Next january or february I thought...

F'ing download keeps falling over for me. Was the same when I tried updating the 3DS. Am I the only one who has consistent problems downloading from Nintendo over an Eircom line?

    Yeah it's free till February.

Apologies for my lack of punctuation, typing off an iPhone. Should have read free today only - on 3DS. Heres the original source article

Damn I almost wish I had a 3DS. What will it cost after February?

I still have my original DS and it works perfectly fine. Buying a DSi would be a huge waste of money.

*Please note that this software is available for free for a limited time, September 28th 2011 until February 20th 2012, and is subject to the availability of Nintendo DSi Shop and Nintendo eShop in your country.

I'd imagine a price around the 5 euro mark will be put on it after that.

Any body know if there's a 3Ds equivalent of the "warp-pipe" software that allowed you to play gamecube online through your PC? Effectively it fooled your console into thinking it was connected to another gamecube so you could play against someone else who had the same software running. Xbox connect was another similar piece of software.
It would be great if I could play four swords with someone who doesn't have to be in the same room as me.

I can't find the original thread for this but does anyone know what the story is with the ten GBA ambassador games? It's late November and ,to my knowledge, they still have not even told us what the other five games are going to be. I hope this doesn't drag on until 2012.

    No news.
But they have 5 weeks of 2011 left..Probaly don't want to detract from sales of titles like super mario 3d land or mario kart as well...so might be leaving as late as possible. :(

The original announcement was like less then 4 weeks before the release of the NES titles, no reason for them to do it sooner, could keep until a few days beforehand even. (Although i wish they would!)
