With a cast that includes Jeremy Sisto, Alan Tudyk and Cheryl Hines, I have high hopes for this

    Any opinions on this?

I liked it. Not the best of ABC comedies, but decent enough.

I liked it too.. resembles Awkward ever so slightly.. but more laughs in the pilot than the entire season of Awkward.

Yes I liked it too and it did remind me of Awkward and also Mean Girls

^ this!....just watched it there after reading y'all comments, Liz....you got it bang to rights!, i loved it! :D

It's just the right side of weird and quirky with enough adult humour, alot of good laughs in there, it's like they've combined a MTV type teen show a la Awkward with Picket Fences or Pushing Daisies or Desperate Housewives, it's a mash of ideas that makes it rather different from anything i've seen in recent memory.

I thought it was great, i'll definately check out ep. 2 - just hope they don't alter it from the pilot or the comedy drops off. But yeah....i think y'all should try this show out. :p

    Best line Vageterian :D

Solid second episode.. best exchange had to be -

    tumblr_lsn982yxOe1qz5dr5o1_500.png

It's a tad reminiscent of 'Cougar Town' too to be honest, but with a less abhorrent lead obviously!

Get rid of that awful credit sequence though!

Enjoyed the second episode - will be sticking with it for awhile anyway, as I've found ABC comedies to be decent enough over the past few years - Modern Family, The Middle, and Cougar Town... And I've heard good things about Happy Endings...

I started watching for Jeremy Sisto. Elton anyone? <3 but I really dig the kid playing the daughter, she's sassy.
I'd like to see a few more male characters down the line too if possible. All the females is a little overkill.

Ep. 3 was great!...best part?....The KKK! :D [Kamantha, Kaitlynn, Kenzie]

lol!...i spotted Abbie Cobb from 90210 as one of the KKK girls :p
It's a weird mashup of shows and genres, as Basq said there are elements of Cougar Town in here + a heavy dose of Awkward and Mean Girls...with a dash of Desperate Housewives, even a few Ugly Betty vibes!

It's a keeper for sure, i think Tessa is great, all them stepford wives are crazy!

I'm a bit unsure about this, I dont find myself laughing too much at it, the whole I want to move back to the city theme is annoying........but yet i keep on watching, not sure why I'm watching. But some things like the Scarlett Johansson..Dead scenes are brilliant TV.

Laughs are getting thin on the ground as it's going on unfortunately.

I'm liking the idea of Dallas and George as a potential couple, building it up slowly

Suburgatory is coming to RTE2 next - starting 7PM next Wednesday (21/3).

This one started off running but has slowed to a shuffle. Not loving it but still watching. Hoping for improvement.

Still watching, although it's gotten pretty weak. Bit of a lift with the last episode. Thought it was funny they cast Alicia Silverstone as George's potential love interest. The actor playing George played the guy who left Cher stranded in Clueless after an unsucessful date.

Was flicking through channels the other evening and saw this on rte2.Think this was wreckless on rte behalf to show this at 7pm when it is a show that should be on about 10pm like desperate housewives etc.it was the episode that the main topics were condoms and sex.I definetely would NOT leave my 9 and 11 year old children watch it yet it is aired at early evening slot..

Yeah i watched the season 2 opener out of interest, it's a likable show and Jane levy is just a super hot redhead, Daliah is still my favourite character. It's very much like The Neighbors with a different tyoe of aliens....

Season 2 finale out now, i have dipped in and out during season 2...its not a bad show for what it is, and Jane Levy is great. I'm almost certain this is getting a third season......

i've been sticking to this, and really enjoying it again. Some of the episodes are not the greatest, but then Ryan or Dalia will come into a scene and make it all better. They steal the show.

they been downgraded as series regulars, most likely theyll just pop up less, unless they get new shows, not bothered by Lee but Tudyk is one of those characters that make the show a bit better than what it is,

Has anyone been watching the latest episodes of this. I'm quite enjoying it.
Dalia is such an excellent character.
And the new son and Fred's interactions are brilliant.

Oddly enough, the show is becoming less and less about Tessa. In the most recent episode, it took 5 minutes before she appeared in screen.

Have they written Malik out of the show entirely? He had one seen where he didn't even speak and nothing. I think Trudyk is a big loss, his character was class and he's such a great comedic actor. Shame

E4 is starting to show Series 3, and they're also showing the whole of Series 2 for folks who want to catch up. I'm DVR-ing the lot, since it's one of my favourite sitcoms of recent years, and it's a nice "half hour before bed" kind of show. :)

More like 2½ seasons, but I don't think we've heard the last of these characters.

Noooooooo. I've only just discovered this show and I think its great. Reminds me very much of clueless, dialogue is razor sharp. Usually I can tell from a mile away if a show will last and after just finishing season 1 of this I was thinking for sure this would run for years........real shame.
