All come with new performance improvement package upgrades. New low-drag nozzle and engine plug configuration, reduced drag anti-collision light fairings (teardrop) and low drag wheel well enclosures and also improvements to slat and spoiler trailing edges.

What sort of fuel saving will that mean?

2% more fuel efficiency according to Boeing with an average saving of $120,000 per aircraft, per year, based on current fuel prices.
Overall the Next Generation 737's rolled out today are 7% more fuel eficient than the ones first rolled out in 1998.

To answer the query regarding entry into service ..they enter service pretty quickly usually the day after delivery.

Not a bad figure for incremental improvements.

I would assume that FR crews fly them to Dublin. The paperwork would all be completed in the Boeing factory/offices, once the lawyers on both sides are happy the 'keys' are handed over to the FR reps. AT that point the aircraft belongs to FR so its their responsibility to get it to where they want it.

(I wonder do Boeing 'fill her up' as a gesture to customers for their delivery flight?:) )

Its a non stop flight, No cargo and no passengers means that they can make it without stopping

Enough to keep Mickos Merc in juice for about a week providing he doesn't give it too much welly coming in from Mullingar. :D

partly true, if anything goes wrong e.g tech problem on route then Boeing look after things afaik.

(the new planes(first few weeks) have glitches quicker then the middle ages ones:D)

    😎
