    Hi all .
Looking for some advice on getting set up with a good foxing gun in .223 and would like to hear your suggestions .
I'm looking for something in a classic timber finish with or without thumbhole stock . Also , what scope would you reccommend ( brand , power etc) I would like to do this right from the start and not be chopping and changing down the line .
I had a day at the range lately with my mates collection of firearms ( all seven of them ) and took a liking to his howa , even over his beloved sako . So what would your reccomendations be ?
Ill be buying it as an X-Mas pressie to myself so I'll be considering all options to find the right rifle .
Also If any of you know of a setup already out there that might be on the market in the next few months , drop me a pm .

    Thanks
    Pat
