We're looking for a boardsie to join myself and phonehead on the show!

Unfortunately fishook has had to pull out, so we're looking for a volunteer from boards to come on the show. The recording is 11pm tonight (I know, short notice). Recording shouldn't take more than an hour to do (we want to keep the show around/below the 40 minute mark)

You'll need a skype account and a good internet connection. If your normal skype conversations work, then that should do. A headset would be cool too for sound quality purposes. A chatty personality is a must! :D

    Initial Running Order

    PART 1: IRELAND
    • Ireland vs Russia review (incorporating a discussion on Tony Buckley, credit: Mungbean)
    • Ireland vs Italy preview
    • Who should start at 10?
    PART 2: EVERYONE ELSE!
    • Pool A: New Zealand vs France review; Where are France now? ; Was this game beneficial to New Zealand?
    • Pool B: Argentina vs Scotland review
    • Pool B: England vs Scotland preview, permutations etc
    • Pool C: A short word on Australia
    • Pool D: SA vs Samoa, Wales vs Fiji preview
PART 3: BOARDS AND OTHER STUFF
    • What are the big topics being discussed on boards? Interesting points etc
    • Pundit discussion, who are our favourite pundits/commentators. (Credit: Mungbean)
    • Bet of the week, "if you have a fiver, what would you put it on?" (Credit: Mungbean)
Obivously the above is subject to change (terms & conditions apply! :pac:) and is dependent on time constraints (particularly concerning Part 3).

So if you want to get involved, send me a PM right away.

    Cheers!

Also we will be on itunes tomorrow so you can download and listen while on the go.

By the way, special mention on next weeks episode to the person who counts and posts the number of times Alan says "You Know":D:D

Funnily enough I made a conscious attempt to stop saying you know. :o

We really want to read your thoughts lads. Do you think we were too lenient/harsh in places? Did we spend too long on certain topics? Is there anything we can do to improve the 'rhythm' of the show?

The best bit of the Podcast was finding out what time it was over there in Canada, amazing stuff.

It's Talking Rugby podcast not the Talking Clock podcast, sorry if you misread the title and expected the later;)

Honestly, let us know where you feel we can improve.

    Cheers. That worked a treat.

I haven't finished the entire podcast yet, but I have enjoyed what I have heard so far.

As for ponts for improvement, I generally like it when podcasts split the topics up, usually with some music, like a short five second clip. Listen to any of the Sarcastic Gamer podcasts for similar.

As for your input, I liked the style and depth of knowledge. No improvements come to mind.

Hmm, what I'd like is a sound clip from a game before discussing it. I doubt that's possible because of copyright though.

Have Dave do the Haka before each segment;)

Anyone feel like taking part in the next episode? scheduled for Wednesday around 11pm Irish time.
