Just signed up for it yesterday too much trifle. First Iron distance race for me. Yes also read the reports and seems to be well ran and course looks relatively fast compared to IMUK. Picked it mainly because you can drive to it and avoid the stress of handing the bike over Ryanair. Really looking forward to it now :D
Will it be your first long distance event?

Your on the ball! Hav'nt looked for accommodation yet but must do so shortly. Do you know the name of the campsite beside race start?
No target and don't know what time to aim for. Few HIM's under my belt and just want to use this race to get a feel for the distance. What about yourself?

Will defo look into that although will also have to look into motor home rental as I don't fancy spending the night before in a bivvy bag! :D

You should consider doing that HIM in Meath in May. I'm going to give it a go anyways as its ideal timing before starting into the last training block before the Outlaw.
Thats a nice spin down from Donegal (providing you have a tail wind!). Send a message before you come down and I can show you a great lake close by (Swinford) for OW swimming.
Enjoy the next couple of months of taking it easy before the real training starts!:D
