Have a decent sized man made pond on some land I have, Im wondering could I stock it with rainbow trout or the likes and will they survive and breed even though there is no flowing water in or out of the pond. Its clear enough colored water with lots of reeds and weeds at the edges and has plenty of insect life on it

I'm starting to sound like a broken record, with these recent restocking threads. However the best advice you will get will be from IFI. Probably best trying the Swords office, as many of the fishery scientists work out of here. The advice is free too, so no excuses!

For the record: As Ironbluedun said, Rainbow trout will not breed.
