its a good concept but to be honest the video is very boring after a minute. there is no progression or development of the concept you know.

But still a really well shot, professional looking video with a good concept :) well done as i believe its your first ?

This is a good concept, but to be honest the video is very boring after a minute. no progress or development of the concept of knowledge.
But once more really good, professional-looking video with a good concept, well done, because I think it's your first time?

Thanks guys. That's a fair point. The video was actually originally intended to be shot with only about 40% of the footage in the dark and the rest more with a standard performance and normal lighting. We shot over two days and the second day was with bright footage. The light and dark footage contrasted so sharply however that they looked like two separate videos. The dark footage also looks more effective. We also wanted a wall of fairy lights in the background for the crescendo of the song and the original location would facilitated this but in this location it wouldn't have worked.

Yes this is our first official music video. We shot another one a few months back for another band and are in the early editing stages so I'll post it once it's done.

Have you guys shot videos yourselves?

Yeah unfortunately with video making comes all these problems, i know them :) haha

Good result considering what happened, and yeah id say this is better than if you had had the bright sections in. You would have needed maybe a story section of video to bridge the contrast change or something.

Yeah i make films and music videos, here is a link to my first proper music video (which is my best so far i think)

    Nice one Andrew.

Any time you do a new video feel free to send it on. You did all the cinematography, planning and editing and that's a lot of work. Fair play
