Can have more than one High Court judge sit on a High Court case.

And saying "yes" to jury for Circuit Court civil is wrong.

Where are you getting this information from?

Court of Criminal Appeal and Court Martial Appeal Court can impose an unlimited fine and sentence a person to life, they are not limited to confirming the judgement of the lower court but can actually increase the penalty (the CCA can do this, I presume the court martial appeal court can).

Supreme Court sits in divisions between 3-7, 3 for simple appeals, 5 for more complex, 7 for serious constitional issues (e.g. A v. governor of arbour hill)

The monetary limit of the Circuit court can not only be extended by agreement but if a case is remitted from the High Court with no condition on the order remitting the case limiting the Circuit Court's jurisdiction to 38k, the circuit court has unlimited monetary jurisdiction.

The district court has a civil jurisdiction of 12.7k when hearing a case remitted from the Circuit Court or High Court.

The Civil Circuit Court never sits with a jury (even in defamation cases).

District Court's criminal jurisdiction is a maximum of 12 months and/or 5 k each charge, max of 24 months if hearing more then one charge (assuming the maximum penalty for the offences in question add up to 24 months when disposed of summarily).

Circuit Court hearing an appeal from District Court has same jurisdiction District Court would have had, similarly High Court hearing appeal from Circuit Court.

High Court can (rarely) sit in a division of 3. High Court civil actions which can be heard by a jury are defamation, assault, battery, false imprisonment and lunancy matters.

I think that Clarke J, Kelly J and Bermingham J (could be wrong on the last one), sat as a division of the High Court in the NAMA challenge earlier in the year.

Not Bermingham J. It was Kearns P.

Three members also for Mahon v Kennedy and Keena.

I believe the Circuit Court also has an increased jurisdiction for Defamation cases, up to €50,000.

    Ooh, I take it you got a 2:1? :P
